Is a he a frog, or a toad?
When he jumped into my leg at the farm school, I assumed he was a toad. I see toads all the time, and he wasn’t near a pond, and he didn’t feel particularly slimy or anything.
But now that I’m looking at this photo, my guess is that he’s a frog. He doesn’t look as squat and bumpy as most toads. And although he wasn’t near a pond, he was near water. I guess that’s frog-like.
Anyway. He was pretty cute. And he jumped right into me! Hope he’s doing ok with this shortage of rain…
