we had a few beautiful weeks, now replaced by what you would expect of a cleveland spring. cooler. cloudier. rainier.
so i’m grateful for these photos. because spring is short lived here, and you have to take what you can get…
i took these photos a few days ago (see the rest here: http://lmcphoto.smugmug.com/Nature/Spring/22156289_4zsSw5), the day before a heavy frost was predicted, just in case our early spring met an early demise…
luckily, it didn’t. so i can go spring photographing again. but for now, when i’m once again exhausted and stressed and in need of a break and some beauty in my life, i’m going to revel in the few that i have taken and post them.
side note: bear with me through this shallow depth of field phase. but isn’t it lovely for spring? it makes everything look sort of like a watercolor painting.
FINALLY got in a farm school visit the other day–complete with friends, dogs, and the chance to take photos!
I’m not sure how i really feel about this strange weather–but at least it’s getting me outside.
Up next: baby goats. so stay tuned…
now, if i had taken this photo in cleveland, it would not be entitled spring snowfall. march is not spring in cleveland (typically. this year is some kind of bizarre fluke…).
but i was home. in virginia. where a spring break snowfall was rather unexpected!
it was SO beautiful though. and perfect for sledding.
visited the farm today. more photos soon!
i think this photo probably makes finn look very intense.
more so than he really is.
really he’s kind of goofy.
but he’s very big! and handsome! i mean. he used to be this: https://lmcphoto.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/snow-puppy-re-dux/
SO many more photos still to go. are you excited?
